EdMedia 2024 Rooftop Welcome Party  at La Bourse

Join us as we welcome you and a guest to EdMedia in Brussels!

La Bourse (Brussels Stock Exchange or ‘Beurs’) consists of a public space with a central gallery with benches, a restaurant, exhibition and meeting rooms,… The other part includes ‘Belgian Beer World’ (the permanent exhibition on Belgian beer culture) and the archaeological site Bruxella 1238.

From the roof terrace, the Skybar surprises you with a view over the centre of Brussels and the tower of the City Hall. On the second floor, a restaurant serves Belgian specialities.

Morning Run/Walk Group

Depart Hotel Le Plaza Brussels 7 AM M-F 

Join a member of our Executive Committee and local Belgian for a morning workout before conference begins.

We will be broken into groups by running pace/walkers and will go for about 30-40 minutes. Runners are encouraged to bring a phone to stay connected and help lead the  group. An example for an indicative 5km run we plan can be found here: https://strava.app.link/88i4NxoHRIb

This informal and popular venue for exchanging ideas maximizes exposure for your research and allows you a creative way to display your work. Attendees will flow through our poster displays and chat with presenters. Cash bar and snacks provided!
