EdMedia 2023 Welcome Party at Fuhrgassl-Huber

The City of Vienna is hosting a unique Viennese Welcome Party for all EdMedia attendees at a beautiful venue known to locals as a heuriger or wine tavern.

Vienna is famous for being one of the few cities in Europe with vineyards still within the city limits. Come enjoy an evening on a beautiful vineyard at Fuhrgassl-Huber. located in the heart of Neustift am Walde. Enjoy cozy parlors, the romantic inner courtyard, excellent wines direct from the makers, and signature local flavors.

Buses will leave from the Univ, W29 building at 6:15 PM and return staggered at 10 PM, 10:30 PM and 11 PM.

Registration is required and due by registration deadline.

FREE to all registered attendees. Guests will be $25 USD per person.

This informal and popular venue for exchanging ideas maximizes exposure for your research and allows you a creative way to display your work. Attendees will flow through our poster displays and chat with presenters. Cash bar and snacks provided!

 

 

 

 


Tour, Dinner, & Concert at the Orangery, Schönbrunn Palace
Thursday, July 13, 6:00 PM

 

Soak up Austrian culture and cuisine with this event, including an exclusive tour of Schönbrunn Palace after its doors are closed to the public, filled by a 3-course dinner, and a classical concert. Explore Schönbrunn’s ornate staterooms and guest apartments with an audio guide. Then, settle into a delicious dinner at a restaurant within walking distance of the Palace. Top off the evening with a concert at the Orangery Schönbrunn and enjoy live classical works from Mozart and Strauss.

Open to all attendees. Cost is $85 USD per person.
