PREP Grant Program for Teacher-Training Centers

The SMARTer Kids Foundation is offering a PREP Grant program to all
teacher-training centers in North America.  I would like to find out how to

Program Overview
SMARTer Kids Foundation is proud to announce $3 million worth of PREP Grants
to teacher-training centers for the purchase of selected SMART Roomware
products.
Grant Amounts

The PREP Grant is 80% of the list price on a SMART Board(tm) 560 or SMART
Board 580 interactive whiteboard, a Floor Stand 570 and SynchronEyes(tm)
software.  For the purchase of SMART Expression(tm) 303 or 503, a mobile
multimedia cabinet, the PREP Grant is 60% of the list price.

Eligibility
Throughout North America, the grant is available to all accredited
universities, colleges, teacher-training schools, institutions or centers
involved in pre-service teacher training and/or education leading to an
education degree or professional teacher certification.  PREP Grants are
also available to all local, district or regional in-service
teacher-training centers.

Limitations
Five hundred grants per product class are available to teacher-training and
preparation facilities. Grants will be evaluated and awarded in the order
they are received. Applicants will be notified of their application status
within 30 days of submission.

What Are the Deadlines?
*         Applications must be received by October 31, 2000
*         Grants must be utilized by December 31, 2000
