Abstract:
Participants will have an in-depth look at one of the most exciting and challenging transformational undertaking in the country. San Diego Unified School District has embarked on a 5 year mission to transform education in its classrooms through the introduction of ActivBoards, 1 to 1 Netbooks, and extensive professional development. This presentation will profile its challenges and celebrate its many successes. Darryl LaGace is the CTO of SDUSD and Barbara Allen is the Director of Instructional Technology.
