Abstract:
Participants will review results from one of the most significant studies completed on impact of a specific technology on student achievement. This studies details the unique results found in a when a classroom teacher is equipped with a ActivBoard, Learner Response System, and appropriate Professional development. The study has been sighted in all major Educational Technology periodicals and news sources. Mike Horan is a 20 year educator who has worked with the largest interactive board installs in the nation. Mr. Horan now supports these efforts as a member of the US Promethean Strategic Team.
