Abstract:
Transformation of secondary education has been a mission for many educational leaders across the nation. Participants will learn of the exciting work being done with secondary teachers utilizing an ActivBoard and a classroom Learner Response System. The approach is designed to engulf students as an active participant in instruction and align that instruction to real world expectations. Mr. Kootman is a former classroom teacher who now works with teachers across Southern California on best practice techniques of instructional integration.
