Travel Information
Air Transportation
To obtain airfare discounts, M/SET 99 has selected United Airlines as the official
carrier. UA offers attendees a 5% discount off United or United Express published fares.
Ground Transporation
The conference hotels are easily accessed by shuttle, taxi, or rental car.
Star Shuttle departs from the San Antonio International Airport baggage claim area every
15 minutes. One-way shuttle transportation is $7; return trip reservations may be made by
calling 210-366-3183. Taxi service to either conference hotel is approximately $20. Avis
and Alamo rental car companies offer M/SET 99 attendees a 10% discount when reservations
are made in conjunction with UA air reservations. The UA agent can transfer your call
directly to the car rental company of your choice.

Directions to Convention Center and M/SET 99 Registration
San Antonio's Convention Center complex architecturally reflects the color and culture of the city. This striking facility is a permanent legacy of the 1968 San Antonio World's Fair.
The Upper Level, where M/SET 99 registrations and sessions will be held, should be accessed from Market Street next to the HemisFair parking garage.
Follow the M/SET 99 signs to the escalator and up to the Upper Level meeting rooms. The M/SET 99 registration area is directly ahead, down the hall from the escalator.
