Master's Programme 
Educational & Training Systems Design (ETSD)

The MSc Programme "Educational and Training Systems Design (ETSD)" is aone-year international MSc Programme intended for persons who find themselvesin a career situation where they are responsible for strategic responsesto educational and training problems and challenges. The Programme is offeredin English and has as major characteristics: (1) the application of theoryinto practice, and (2) a focus on the needs and situation of the individualparticipant.

The ETSD Programme was initiated in August 1994 at the Facultyof Educational Science and Technology at the University of Twente in Enschede,The Netherlands. In September, 1998, the University of Twente and SofiaUniversity "St. Kliment Ohridski" agreed on licensed regional deliveryof the Programme at the University of Sofia through the newly establishedCentreof Information Society Technologies.

In terms of responsibilities this implies that the instructional processwill take place at the Sofia University, Bulgaria, while the Universityof Twente maintains full responsibility for the content and the qualityof the licensed programme.

All successfully graduated students receive a MSc degree diplomafrom University of Twente.
