The Award of AACE Fellow has been made to Professor Thomas Reeves in recognition of his outstanding contributions to AACE through his activities in ED-MEDIA--World Conference on Educational Multimedia, Hypermedia and Telecommunications and the Journal of Interactive Learning Research.  Tom has played a significant role in promoting the reputation and status of ED-MEDIA through such significant roles as Chair of the Organizing Committee, Steering Committee Member, Keynote Speaker, Program Committee Member, Paper Presenter and Workshop Presenter. 

Professor Reeves has long been a champion of this conference and has been instrumental in introducing many people to its events. Professor Reeve's international reputation and strong support for ED-MEDIA has helped the conference to grow to its position as the premiere world conference on educational multimedia and telecommunications.

Professor Reeves was the founding Editor in Chief of the Journal of Interactive Learning Research and for the four years in which he held this role, he helped to grow this journal as a world leader in the publication and dissemination of leading edge research and writing.
